I love days like these....

So I've had such a God day today. I feel so close to Him. I feel like He's just sitting at my desk with me right now. Love that feeling.

I've been praying the He will give me a sign on something that I have been worried about for a while now. I kept saying, "God, I trust you. I do. But you know I'm a worrier and if you could just give me a sign that you have everything taken care of then I'll drop it I promise" I had almost given up on getting my sign, until I was talking to a friend yesterday and there it was. It was so clear and obvious. I guess he knew that I needed to be smacked in the face with it or I would never see it. I always doubt myself and think "I'm just trying to make everything into a sign." But this time I just know that God gave me the sign that I was looking for. And I am so grateful. He is so good.

In other news, one of my best friends, Amanda Hymas, is getting married this weekend! I could not be happier for her. She has found her soul mate and it is so obvious that they are so in love. I pray that I find a man that loves me as much as Jared loves Amanda. She was always the one who said she wouldn't get married until she was 30, if ever, because she has too much she wants to do with her life. And I believed her! But I guess that just goes to show that when you find the one, everything changes. Priorities and dreams change to include your other half that you have found. They are just perfect for each other and I can't wait to share their special day with them.

Also, I would just like to say that I have the most amazing friends in the entire world. I love that we can go without seeing each other for a while and as soon as we are together it's like we were never apart. I had the privilege of spending the day at the lake on Saturday for Amanda's bachelorette party with some of my favorite people in the world. We hadn't' been all together in a long time, but as soon as we saw each other it was like nothing had changed. It felt like we were still in college. Best feeling ever. I can't wait to see even more friends at the wedding this weekend. It does the heart good to be around old friends. Makes my heart smile. And I hope y'all have your dancin' shoes packed because I am planning on cuttin' a rug!

Life is good today.

Wooooooooooo Pig!!!

AAAWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWOWOWOWOOOOOOOOOOOO PIG SOOOOOOIEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Words cannot express how pumped I am for Razorback football this season. I always get super excited about football season because it basically the most amazing time of the year. However, this is the first year in 5 years that I haven't been a student. I'm a Razorback Alum (which I honestly think sounds cooler anyway), but with that brings the fact that I have to buy regular priced tickets. Which SUCKS. How in the world can the Univeristy of Arkansas Athletic department really feel right about charging that much for die-hard fans to get to see their Razorbacks play some football? How do those people sleep at night?

Anyway, football season is almost here and I just can't wait to watch the SEC blow everyone else out of the water, with our Razorbacks leading the way. I already have my outfit picked out for every game. Now that Vicky's Secret carries collegiate wear, my credit card had taken a hit but at least I'll have my super cute Razorback gear!

So, now that Shark Week is over, I am so thankful that I have SEC football to look forward to. See y'all tailgatin'!

"C'mon Arkansas fans, Let's stand up and CALL THOOOOOOSE HOOOOOGS!!!"
